Fight Hunger with CBE Graduate Programs
From Nov. 5 - 16, CBE Graduate Programs will be collecting canned food to help the Maryland Food Bank provide meals for those who are hungry in our community this Thanksgiving. Each week, the Maryland Food Bank assists 50,000 people in Maryland that are relying on emergency food programs such as food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters in order to put food on the table for their families. More than one third of Maryland's hungry are children and elderly. Annually, the Maryland Food Bank provides emergency food for 235,000 different people.
To participate, students can drop off donations from Nov. 5 - 16 at any of the following locations:
Towson Athletics - Support a good cause while supporting the Towson Tigers, just drop off food items at the Nov. 9 & Nov. 10 games.
- Stephens Hall - Room 301J, Dean's Office, or any of CBE's academic departments
- Starbucks
- University Store
- Virtual Donations - Make a virtual donation by visiting the M.S. in Accounting program News & Events Web page at http://www.towson.edu/accounting/abas/news.asp.
