Celebrating the Career of Raft Woodus
Raft Woodus, director of Student Success Programs at Towson University, is an amazing person who gives of himself to his community, church, students, family, and friends. As he approaches his 40th year of service at TU, it is only fitting that those he has impacted celebrate him. TU is planning a year-long celebration for not only Raft’s 40th, but also the 50th anniversary of the Black Student Union and Center for Student Diversity (Multicultural Center).
Part of this celebration is launching a campaign to create the Raft Woodus Student Success Programs Fund with the goal of raising $40,000. The purpose of this fund is to provide support for Student Success Programs, or its successor program, and assist students through scholarships and/or stipends should the need arise. Whether you are a CEEP recipient, SAGE participant, Brotherhood member, Project L.O.U. participant, or anyone who has been impacted by Raft’s selflessness, make a gift to honor his commendable career and contributions. Consider a gift in increments of $40.00, which is equivalent to 5 lattes from your favorite local coffee shop!
If you have any questions, feel free to contact Tammie King-Kelly at (410) 704–2051. Thank you for your support in honoring Raft Woodus!
