UNDERGRADUATE PRE-MEDICAL/PRE-DENTAL PROGRAM

Suggested Curriculum

Pre-Medical and Pre-Dental students, regardless of major, are advised to incorporate the following courses into their undergraduate curriculum.  Students should complete general and organic chemistry, biology and physics by the end of the junior year in order to be well prepared for the MCAT or DAT. The MCAT is given in April and August; a computerized DAT is given throughout the year.  In addition to basic sciences you must complete GenEd and major requirements for the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degrees.  Some professional schools may require specific courses that are not included in the suggested curriculum.*  You are urged to contact an adviser in your major department and to schedule a meeting with the coordinator of Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Programs early in your college career.
