The Honors College Scholarship

Honors College scholarships are a one-time offer at the time of admission to the Honors College. The amount of your Honors College scholarship is provided in your financial aid package. The Honors College Scholarship is renewable for the period specified in your scholarship letter if you satisfy the following conditions.

  • You must maintain membership in the Honors College by meeting all Honors College curricular and co-curricular requirements. Please click here for more information about the Honors College curriculum.
  • You must maintain continuous full-time status in the university by enrolling and completing at least 12 units each Fall and Spring semester.

If an Honors College scholarship is cancelled, the cancellation is permanent and the scholarship cannot be reinstated for future semesters.

The Honors College Scholarship is offered in addition to any scholarships you may have been awarded by Towson University. In some instances, as a result of other financial assistance, it may be necessary to reduce or cancel the Honors College Scholarship so the total sum of the awards does not exceed state, federal, or institution program limits.
