Admission Requirements
Master’s Degree Component
-
A Bachelor’s degree with an overall GPA of 3.25.Students are eligible to request conditional admission
with an overall GPA of 3.00.

A degree or certificate in occupational therapy
from a professional occupational therapy program accredited by
the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education or
by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists.

Proof of completion of prerequisite course work.

Graduate Record Examination (minimum 900 combined
math and verbal score) or Miller Analogies Test (minimum 50th
percentile).

Eligibility for licensure to practice as an
occupational therapist.

International students must have TOEFL scores of
at least 550.

Three letters of recommendation.
Students are admitted through a
rolling admission process. The Admissions Committee meets each
month during the academic year to review all complete applications
forwarded by the College of Graduate Education and Research.
Applicants are mailed a status update after this meeting.
Requirement for Advancement to
Doctoral Student

Letter of intent describing professional goals in
seeking the degree and area(s) of interest/specialization.

Interview by the Doctoral Admissions committee.

A 3.25 GPA in graduate coursework.
Students are informed of their
advancement status within one month of their interview via a mailed
letter.
