Sociology/Anthropology/Criminal Justice Internship Opportunities
Student internships can
be pursued in each concentration offered by the department. Internships
provide students with opportunities to apply what they have learned in
the classroom to real workplace settings, allowing them to explore
possible career avenues while adding valuable practical experience to
their resumes. The department has a specific internship coordinator to
assist students in sociology or anthropology, and a separate internship
coordinator for students in criminal justice. Students who are
interested in completing an internship in the department should visit
the department office for more information. They must also attend the
preliminary information sessions which convene each semester prior to
the internship to begin the internship process. Students can complete
3-6 course units in internship placements, at one or different
internship sites. Specific examples of recent internship locations
