Baltimore Immigration Summit Set for Oct. 24

The Baltimore Immigration Summit 2014 will take place Friday, October 24 from 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center of Baltimore, 5750 Park Heights Ave. Baltimore, MD 21215.

The summit is a one-day event which brings together academics, service providers, activists, community leaders, and others working with and for immigrants in our region. Baltimore is an area with a growing and diverse immigrant population, as well as local government that views immigrants as an important part of the city’s resurgence. The theme of this year’s summit is “Living, Working, Growing Together.”

The event is free and open to the public.
