Academic Achievement Center

Advancing Students & Enhancing Learning

The Academic Achievement Center is a full-service learning center for Towson University students. Centrally located in Cook Library, we are here to assist students in achieving their academic goals. Our mission is to facilitate a community of learners by coordinating high quality tutoring, structured study groups and offering study skills workshops.

Our services include:

• Tutoring
• Academic Coaching
• Workshops
• Study Groups
• Learning and Study Strategies Inventory (LASSI)
• Placement Testing

Tutoring takes place in our main center for foreign language, social science and business courses. Additional tutoring is offered in our satellite locations for mathematics, natural and physical science, computer science, and music.

Tuesday 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. during tutoring, except during the week of Thanksgiving
