Committee W

 
 

During the Fall, members of Committee W met to determine our agenda for the 2010-2011 academic year.  This agenda has shifted in recent months as Provost Welsh has taken on tasks related to gender equality on campus; she is both spearheading a salary equity study and supporting the AAUP’s Primary Caregiver policy as it moves through the USM system approval process.  As many of our original goals are currently being addressed by the administration, we have decided to focus our efforts on working with FLIC in their ongoing development of a new Family Leave policy.  We look forward to working with FLIC on this important initiative during the Spring semester.
