Student Academic Advisers (SAA)

Sometimes there are questions that you may not want to ask your adviser like:  "Can you help me figure out my Degree Progress Report?" "Is this really a hard course?" or "What happens if I turn in an assignment late to my chemistry professor?"

You can get the answers to those questions and more from students who have been through the TU experience already. These SAAs are upper class Towson students who are specially trained to assist students with their advising questions

We provide students with quick, accurate information about courses, General Education requirements, and Core Curriculum Requirements.

You can meet with a student academic adviser in the Academic Advising Center Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Student advisers are specially selected and trained upper-class students.

	Jeff Kodis Major: Philosophy and Religious Studies Minor: Business Administration From:  Pasadena, MD Graduation: May 2013! In December, I returned from a semester abroad in Oslo and I hope to travel more in the near future. In my spare time, I enjoy playing and listening to music.

	Brendan Logan  Major: Accounting From: Garden City, NY Graduation: May 2015 As well as being a Student Academic Adviser, I am a member of the Towson University Rugby Football Club. This Fall I will be studying abroad at the American University of Rome
	Betty Kabtiymer Major: Marketing and E-Business From: Ethiopia Graduation: May 2016 I am an artist. I love painting and exploring different forms of art. I also enjoy self-improvement projects and events that allow me to communicate and work with others.

	Jessica Martin Major: Speech-Language Pathology & Deaf Studies From: Suffern, NY Graduation: May 2013 I really enjoy spending time at the beach!
	Amanda Sands Major: Spanish and Psychology Minor: Family Studies From: Dundalk, MD Graduation: May 2016 I absolutely love talking with others, and I plan to become a guidance counselor after obtaining my degree.
	Zofia Poltorak Major: Accounting and Economics From: Washington DC Graduation: December 2013 My parents are from Poland and I'm fluent as well as a dual citizen. I'm an adrenaline junkie. My favorite color is grey.

	Lauren Brown Major: Psychology Major and Criminal Justice Major From:  Clarksville, MD Graduation: May 2013! I started long distance running last year and I really enjoy it. I’ll be participating in a 10k in June and I hope to do my first half marathon later this year.
	Shelby Reichardt Double Major: Psychology and Sociology/Anthropology From:  Harford County, MD Graduation: May 2014! I am a sister of the Alpha Xi Delta Fraternity and I enjoy spending time with my sisters and working with different philanthropies on campus. After graduation I hope to travel abroad and work with different non-profit organizations dedicated to victim and child advocacy.
