Careers
Students are prepared for careers as accountants in public, non-profit, small business and corporate settings. Advance your career by utilizing the Career Advancement Strategy (CAS).
Career Advancement Strategy
We offer a wide range of services to help you achieve your professional goals. Our Career Advancement Strategy (CAS) is the methodology we've developed that takes you through the career planning and development process.
Your career success is largely dependent on having a thoughtful and comprehensive plan that will detail your career goals and guide you in achieving these goals. Seize the opportunity to take what you learned in the classroom and apply them to your current position while you grow your Graduate portfolio. During your time in the program, you will develop and re-vamp your CAS plan because it will change over time in response to changes in your personal objectives as well as changes in the marketplace. In doing this, it will help launch your Post-M.S. Career and keep it on track for today’s competitive global marketplace.
The CAS is a methodology. You can begin at any point in the process depending on your career goals. Below are the four parts to the strategy.
- Meet with a TU Career Consultant
- Devise a Career Action Plan
- The Graduate Portfolio
- Develop a Network
