Online Orientation

The online orientation is a central location to find all the information that you need to know as you begin your employment with Towson University. The information on the site includes Towson policies and procedures, how to obtain/where to find benefits information, available resources, and more perks of being a Towson University employee.

University Orientation

University Orientation is held on a monthly basis and is designed to familiarize new employees with the University’s history, mission, vision, strategic plan, diversity goals and initiatives.  The orientation also provides an opportunity for new employees to meet with campus officials and leaders, as well as colleagues.

Technology Orientation

The Office of Technology Services (OTS) offers a variety of services to faculty and staff to assist them with computing at Towson University.  The technology orientation is designed to familiarize new staff with information needed to perform their job as employees of Towson University.  The information includes user accounts, email, PeopleSoft, training, and more.

Mentorship Program

Towson University’s Staff Mentorship Program aims to develop relationships among staff, resulting in a stronger and more collaborative working environment. Specifically, this program assists with integrating employees into the Towson University community by providing them with a valuable resource, a mentor, who offers support and encouragement, and is a point of reference for many additional resources that this campus offers. The mentor/mentee matching program is available to all employees regardless of classification and division. Those interested in being a mentor or being mentored can register online and are notified as potential matches become available.
