Towson University Residence Hall Cable Television Support Information

Please find support information for your cable service below listed by supported residence hall.

If you are a resident of one of the following buildings, Student Computing Services (SCS) provides support for your Cable TV service.

• Glen Complex
• Richmond Hall
• Newell Hall
• Prettyman Hall
• Scarborough Hall
• Residence Tower
• Ward Hall
• West Hall
• Towson Run Apartments
• Barton House
• Douglass House

To contact SCS, call 410-704-5151 (options 2, 1, 3).  It is best if you call from your room so we may better troubleshoot problems. 

• During Summer of 2013, the University upgraded the cable TV service to provide 100% crystal clear digital channels.
• If you are not receiving any channels, you may need to make sure your TV is set to cable and then perform a channel scan.  Consult your TV manual for more information.
• If you scan for channels and still do not receive any channels, check your manual and make sure you have a TV that supports digital TV and ClearQAM.
