A Good Place to Start - A Web Search
C.1 A good first step that is often overlooked when seeking information or help on computers is to search the Web for information. Type in the text of an error message that pops up on your computer into a search engine. At the very least, search results often provide useful information that can be used when seeking assistance from Help Centers, etc.

C.4. Towson University Mac Users Group (for faculty and staff only)
Important: It is crucial that all faculty and staff Mac users join the Towson University Mac Users Group (MUG). Membership in this group assures that you receive communications and can participate in exchanging ideas and information on Mac computing at the university.
To join MUG, click this link: MUG SharePoint site, you may be prompted for your Towson NetID. If you enter the site successfully, you are already a MUG member; if you receive an "Error: denied access window" select the “Request access” link in this window and your membership request will be granted within a couple days.
