Accessibility: Interpreting your Accessibility Report
Accessibility has become an increasingly important topic in web design and development. An enormous effort has been made into making the Towson website accessible and compliant with Section 508 of the US Rehabilitation Act which means it is easily usable for people with varying disabilities, including visual, hearing and motor impairment. Bi-Monthly accessibility reports are run on the entire website to help identify areas that are not in compliance. In this self-help document, you will learn how to interpret the accessibility report and begin the process of bringing your department website into Section 508 compliance.
