Students moving in to the residence halls must park in a legal space, with the exception of times when the Police department is controlling the areas around housing locations. Unless directed by the police to park in a restricted area, please park in a legal parking space. For the safety of the community, fire lanes must remain clear at all times.
Early Move In/Out
Individuals who have been authorized to move in early or may be moving out at the end of a semester should utilize designated Move-In spaces as indicated below.
For a limited time, designated “Move-in/out” spaces will be located near each residence hall.
Vehicles may only be parked in “Move-in/out” spaces for a maximum of 30 minutes. A permit is not required while parked in a "Move-in/out" space. Once unloaded/loaded vehicles must be moved to a legal commuter or resident space.
"Early Move-In" permits may only be used for one day to park and are only valid on the day you are assigned to move-in. Move-in permits may be obtained from the administrator of the group authorizing the student to move in early.
When parked in a Commuter or Resident spaces during this period, an "Early Move-In" permit with the arrival date circled or your TU permit must be displayed.
All vehicles must be parked in a legal space.
Vehicles may not be parked in fire lanes, on roads, sidewalks, grass, etc., even for a few minutes.
Only vehicles displaying state issued handicapped license plates or permits may be parked in handicapped spaces. The "Early Move-In" permit (with arrival date circled) must also be displayed.
If you do not have a valid annual or semester permit you must either purchase your new permit (if eligible) or obtain a "Visitor" permit from a pay station for the days not covered by the "Early Move-In" parking permit.
