AND TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
Planning Event Parking
Departments and event coordinators must coordinate parking arrangements through Parking Services for any event that will require ten (10) or more parking spaces, whether or not there is an associated parking fee and/or the event is being held during non peak hours, including weekends. An “Event Parking Request Form” must be completed and submitted to Parking Services prior to committing to an event date or location. Request forms must be submitted at least 10 business days prior to the event and will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Parking Services, at its discretion, will determine if parking will be available for the event. Events that may be considered unsafe may require approval from Environment Health and Safety and university legal counsel. If parking is available, Parking Services will determine the available lot location and notify the department once a request form is received and processed.
Departments will be contacted and provided a Parking Event reference number and an estimate within 3 business days of submitting the form. If you have not received this information within 3 business days, please follow up with Parking Services to verify that the request was received by the department.
Transportation Services is also available to assist event coordinators with any transportation needs for their event.
