Parking and Transportation Services

All students, faculty and staff members who utilize a handicap license plate or placard are encouraged to register their plate or placard with Parking & Transportation Services. Registration does not guarantee a citation will not be issued, however, it greatly reduces the likelihood that a vehicle legitimately parked in an accessible space will be towed or issued a citation.

Registered participants will be notified regarding significant changes to handicap parking areas and Para-Transit services.

NOTE: Only those vehicles listed will be noted in our system as registered with a HC permit. Any vehicle change must be forwarded to Parking & Transportation Services.

Handicap Placard Usage:

I use my hangtag/placard on a regular basis.
I use my hangtag/placard on an as needed basis.

Location of accessible spaces you use most frequently:

Applications are complete upon receipt of copies of the following forms:

  • Towson University ID Card
  • State-issued Handicap registration card (if applicable)
  • Vehicle registration card (if handicap plate)
  • Handicap hangtag (if applicable) displaying the expiration date

Documentation may be mailed (Union Garage), faxed (410-704-3370) or hand-delivered to the Parking & Transportation Office.
