Faculty/Staff Permit Rates Fall 2014/Spring 2015

Faculty/Staff permit rates are based on annual salary, as of June 2014. If an individual is hired in the middle of the year, his or her expected annual income will be used. Beginning in September, permits will be prorated each week . Towson University controls the use of permits and they must be cancelled if an employee separates from the university. Please contact the Auxiliary Services Business Office regarding permit cost once prorating has begun.

Payroll deduction amounts are for the full permit rate over 20 pay periods. The first payroll deduction will appear in the September paycheck. The cutoff date for current employees to sign up for payroll deduction for the 2014-2015 academic year is August 22, 2014. The cutoff date for new employees to sign up for Payroll Deduction is March 31, 2015.
