PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

Refund Policy

Individuals may cancel an annual permit for a prorated refund within the time periods below.  Daily, weekly and monthly permits are not eligible for refunds.

• Permits expiring August 31st, of the current academic year may be cancelled for a pro-rated refund through March 29th, of the same academic year.

The refund amount will be based on the pro-rated value when the permit is cancelled (not the date of separation from the University) to the Auxiliary Services Business Office.   For specific information regarding refund amounts, come to the Auxiliary Services Business Office in the University Union.

Faculty/Staff who were issued an AVI to access gated lots must return the AVI device to the Auxiliary Services Business Office within 5 business days of separation or be subject to a replacement fee.

NOTE: Individuals who pay for their permit with payroll deduction are not eligible for refunds. Financial obligation does not end until the parking permit is cancelled through the Auxiliary Services Business Office in the University Union.

Pro-Rate Schedule for Annual Faculty/Staff Permits

Permits are pro-rated weekly beginning the in the early part of September for each academic year.  Figures below are estimates only.  The actual refund amount will depend on the date the permit is returned to the Auxiliary Services Business Office.  After March 29th, no refunds will be processed for Annual permits.
