Commuter Students
Non freshman students who do not live in the campus residence halls (including Towson Run, Paca, Tubman and Millennium Hall ) are eligible to purchase a commuter permit. Eligible students may purchase an annual, semester or evening permit.
Freshman commuters (<30 credits) are only eligible to purchase a Towson Center permit or an Evening permit. Towson Center permits are only valid in the Towson Center lots, 13, 14, 19, 20 & 21 during peak hours. Towson Center permits are valid in other areas as indicated on posted signs at each lot.
Evening permits are only valid in designated lots after 3 p.m.
Evening Students
Students who live off campus and attend classes in the evening are eligible to purchase an evening permit. Students with evening permits may park in commuter and overflow lots after 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Evening permits are also valid in Faculty/Staff lots after the posted hours at the lot. Students who have evening permits but wish to park on campus during the day must park in a visitor location and pay the prevailing rate.
Permits are not required in most locations from 3 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday or when the university is officially closed for a holiday or inclement weather.
