Move In / Move Out Notice
Students moving in to the residence halls must park in a legal space, with the exception of times when the Police department is controlling the areas around housing locations. Unless directed by the police to park in a restricted area, please park in a legal parking space. For the safety of the community, fire lanes must remain clear at all times.
Student Parking Information
Parking regulations are enforced year round, and students should obtain a permit prior to parking on campus or utilize a meter.

Pro-rated annual permits are available for the summer 2008 sessions.
Parking permit sales information for the 2008–2009 academic year:
- July 28 to August 3rd, 2008, 9 a.m. - Resident students with 90+ credits
- August 4, 2008, 9 a.m. - Residents with 30+ credits and all commuters
- September 8, 2008, 10 a.m. - Freshman resident wait list will open
Pro-rated annual permits will be available for the Spring. Fall permits are valid through January 31, 2009. If purchasing a permit for the spring, avoid paying a higher rate by purchasing your permit at the end of January.
Permits may be purchased online, in person or through the mail. New permits will be valid August 18, 2008. Permits from the 2007–2008 academic year expire on August 31, 2008.
Permits are required year round. Both annual and fall semester permits for commuter and resident students are available for purchase online (during specific time periods), through the mail, and at the Auxiliary Services business office in the University Union. Students who purchase a permit through the mail must complete the permit application form and send it to the Auxiliary Services business office for processing.
Students eligible for special group permits must purchase them in person at the Auxiliary Services business office and provide verification of their eligibility.
NOTE: Motorcycle permits as a second permit must be purchased in person at the Auxiliary Business Office.
PLEASE NOTE: FINANCIAL AID IS NOT ACCEPTED FOR THE PURCHASE OF A STUDENT PARKING PERMIT. Students must use an alternate payment method, such as a credit card, cash or a personal check. Students may choose to postpone the permit purchase pending receipt of financial aid checks, which are sent approximately 10 days prior to the first day of classes.
IF YOU SELECT TO PICK UP YOUR PERMIT, PLEASE ALLOW 24 HOURS TO PROCESS YOUR REQUEST. IF YOU SELECT TO HAVE YOUR PERMIT MAILED, PLEASE ALLOW AT LEAST 10 BUSINESS DAYS TO RECEIVE YOUR PERMIT.
