PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

Student Permit Rates 2008-2009

Purchase your permit online to avoid lines.  All vehicles parked on campus must display a valid TU permit or park at a paid meter during restricted hours.  No warnings.

Permit sales schedule:

• Resident students with 60+ credits - begin July 28, 2008 at 9 a.m.
• All other student sales begin August 4, 2008 at 9 a.m.
• Freshman wait list will open on September  8, 2008 at 10 a.m.

New for Fall 08 - Hybrid Permit Program - 50% Discount

As part of the environmental initiatives associated with Towson University, Parking & Transportation Services will be offering a Hybrid Vehicle Permit Program.  Eligible faculty, staff and students will be able to obtain an annual parking permit at half of the applicable rate.

Permit Rates Fall 08

Lost or stolen permits are replaced at a cost of $25 for the first occurrence.  Subsequent replacement fee is the current permit rate.  Replacement fees are non-refundable.

*Note:  Annual permits will be sold at a pro-rated amount for the spring semester.  Fall permits are valid through January 31, 2009.  In order to avoid paying a higher rate for a spring permit students should purchase their spring permit at the end of January.

**Motorcycle permits as a second permit must be purchased in person at the Auxiliary Business Office.

Graduate Assistant Permit Rates 2008-2009

Students must have a full-time, 20-hour graduate assistantship to apply for a Faculty/Staff permit.  Upon verification of their status, 20+ hour GA's are eligible to purchase a Faculty/Staff permit at the lowest Faculty/Staff rate.  Please see rates under the Faculty/Staff section.

Pro-Rate Permit Cost and Refunds

No refunds will be processed for Annual permits after March 31st or for semester permits after November 30th.  Rates below are estimates only.  Actual rates/refunds are based on the date the permit is purchased or returned to the Auxiliary Services Business Office.
