Virtual Permits - 2012-2013 Academic Year

Register Your Vehicles - License Plate Recognition (LPR)

The LPR system uses the latest technology to maintain license plate data for vehicles parked on TU’s campus.  The new system is used for enforcement purposes and requires each vehicle license plate be registered with Parking and Transportation Services.

Individuals need to register each vehicle driven to campus, including those owned by family members with the same address.  Rental or borrowed vehicles can also be registered to an individual’s account by sending an e-mail to upark@towson.edu with the pertinent information and the usage end date.

To register a vehicle, the following information is needed:  license plate, state, year, make, model and color.

There are two ways to register:

*Permit holders who are not current faculty/staff or a current student must  e-mail the information to uPark@towson.edu
