PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

Traffic Updates

The ongoing campus construction projects often impact parking and transportation.  We strive to minimize these impacts, but changes are inevitable. Please use this site to stay up to date with changes regarding access and availability of parking resources and shuttle services. 

Parking

Union Garage Opening

• Effective August 23rd, 2013, the garage will be re-opened for use by the campus community. Please be aware that the road and lower entrance from Osler Drive has been reconfigured. Access to the upper levels from the lower entrance will require drivers to use a new drive lane inside the garage. The drive lanes in the ground level faculty/staff area will continue to be one way; however, the direction will be reversed

Lot 7a - Ward/West

• Lot 7A is currently under construction for the next 12-18 months. Handicapped parking will be available in the Towsontown Garage.
• Resident lot 7 parking is available on the roof level of the Towsontown garage as designated by posted signs, designated Overflow areas of West Village Garage or Towson Center lots.

Lot 11 & 11a Closure - Outside of Union Garage

• Lot 11 & Lot 11a outside of the Union Garage was permanently closed in May 2013.

Lot 17 - Enrollment Services - Closure

• Effecitve May 2013, Lot 17 in front of Enrollment Services will be permanently closed.
• Faculty/Staff parking will be relocated to the second level of the West Village garage.
• Handicapped parking will be relocated to the ground level of the West Village garage and the Union Garage.  Please see information on ParaTransit service.

Transportation

Please review the shuttle schedules for more detailed information regarding service days and times.

Cockeysville/Timonium Route

• As a result of the new reconfigured roadway associated with the bridge over Osler Drive, the shuttle stop is located on the outside of the Union Garage on the lower level.
