Community Crime Reduction Unit

The Community Crime Reduction Unit (CCRU) comprises investigative and community services. The merging of these services enables crime prevention and criminal investigation techniques to be combined into a comprehensive approach to criminal cases. CCRU works to both resolve crimes and simultaneously analyze existing factors that created the opportunity for the crime to be committed. This unit provides a wide range of services to the university and general community, including surveillance operations, crime prevention surveys and reports, and community awareness programs.
