Under certain conditions and restrictions, faculty and staff employees, and spouses and dependent children of faculty and staff employees, are eligible for tuition remission at the 11 institutions of the University System of Maryland (USM), Morgan State University, St. Mary’s College of Maryland and Baltimore City Community College, based on USM policies. These policies govern tuition remission benefits at Towson University.
Tuition remission guidelines, deadlines and application forms are available online from the Office of Human Resources. Applications will only be processed within the term for which a tuition remission is requested. All signatures must be secured on the remission form before any reduction will be allowed toward tuition.
The tuition remission only satisfies the tuition cost.
Mandatory University Fees, Technology Fees and other
miscellaneous fees are to be satisfied by the bill payment due
