We are responsible for providing responsive and accurate service relating to the variety of benefits programs available to all staff and faculty employees and retirees. These programs include group medical, dental, prescription, life and long-term disability insurance, basic and supplemental retirement, tuition remission, workers compensation and employee recognition. The Unit also provides guidance and assistance to university management, staff, and faculty in areas related to time & attendance, leave types and usage, and the Family Leave Act.
The 2014 open enrollment for health benefits will take place October 15 to November 14, 2014. During this time, eligible faculty and staff can enroll in health benefits, change benefits or dependents, and sign up for a flexible spending account.
