Death Benefits
In the event of an employee's death prior to separation from service, the employee's beneficiaries or estate shall be entitled to any earned unpaid salary, compensation for accrued and unused annual leave and holidays, life insurance proceeds (when applicable), and any other entitlement that may be due from the Maryland State Retirement and Pension System, Optional Retirement plans, Supplemental Retirement plans or Workers Compensation.
