Preparing to capture your lecture using MediaSite



Training will be required for all first-time presenters using MediaSite. The training takes approximately 1/2 hour and should take place prior to the scheduled recording session.

Instructors should also review the Teaching With MediaSite document.

Content Copyright Review

All presenters are required to have all non-original content reviewed by the University Copyright Officer prior to the recording session to ensure compliance with all content distribution restrictions. Non-original content is anything written or created, whether published or unpublished, by someone other than the presenter.

Intellectual Property Rights

Reuse and Distribution of Content

Access and reuse of content follows established policies in the Towson University faculty handbook.

Release Form

The Towson University Release Form  (use of image and voice) must be signed by every student & guest presenter(s) participating in a DMC recording session.
