Use the information below to learn how to receive an educational discount from Dell or Apple on computer systems for personal use.

• TU Faculty members
• TU full- and part-time staff members

Please note that vendors may require a photocopy of your University ID to prove that you are faculty, staff or a student at the university.

Partnership

Discounts are provided through partnerships between outside vendors and the University System of Maryland (USM). OTS will continue to work with the vendors and USM to fine-tune the discounts, recommend configurations and negotiate special deals. NOTE: When you buy the computer, you will be making the purchase directly with the vendor and not through USM or Towson University.

Purchase a System

Dell (external link)

Click the following link (or to the left) to autologon to the Premier Dell.com Web site. We recommend you click the link for "Purchasing Tools" and then "Your Dell Store" to shop for the system you want. The "Special Offers" section provides the best discounts and configurations.

Apple (external link)

Click the link to the left to open Apple's Online Store in a new browser window. In the "Shop For Yourself" section on the right, click "Higher Education Faculty, Staff and Students." In the School Locator, scroll down to "Maryland." Type "Towson" in the field for School City, then click Find. Select "Towson University" from the list and click Continue. Shop on!
