The Office of Technology Services is utilizing Microsoft
System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to distribute software to
campus Windows computers. One of the biggest
advantages of software distribution is that anyone can
install available packages on their computer without
administrative permissions. Below are two tables that
show available software packages; Table 1 is the packages
that all office computers should already have access to and
Table 2 is a list of packages that are available by
contacting the Help Center. Some packages may require
a purchase of a license before it can be installed.
Software can be installed through the Run Advertised Programs
link below. Press the Run button after clicking on
the link. Software Distribution is only available to campus
computers on the Towsonu domain that have the SCCM client installed. If your
computer does not have an SCCM client installed, contact the Help
Center.
