Blackboard is Towson's online learning management system
which allows you to connect with students outside the
physical classroom. It can be used to distribute files
such as a syllabus, collect and grade assignments, hold
discussion forums and generate tests.

SCS is a multifaceted technology support service
available to all Towson University students. SCS is
located on the first floor of Cook Library, room 35.

Service Desk
The Service Desk provides technical support and
troubleshooting assistance to students
experiencing problems or seeking technology
advice.
Computer Lab
The Lab offers 54 PCs, 10 iMacs, and pay-for-print
services, with on-site support staff.
Learning Center & Studio
Training and consultative services, multimedia
collaboration, recording studio, rehearsal
space, workshops and large format printing.
Gear2Go Equipment Loans
SCS maintains a collection of digital
cameras, audio recorders and other equipment available to students,
faculty and staff.
OTS
Training offers free workshops to faculty, staff and
students on a variety of topics as well as customized
and one-on-one trainings. We can help you gain access to
self help training and offer an extensive online library
of video tutorials. You may also contact OTS Training to
request a host account or training in WebEx.
Workshops Free training is available on a variety of topics including Microsoft Office Suite, iPad, Mac, Section 508

customize your training session and bring the training

WebEx OTS Training provides technical support and training for WebEx, an online web-conferencing application. All

Client Services serves faculty and staff through
telephone, Remote Control Access, walk-in and
on-site support. Provides software and hardware service, manages computer purchases and assists with the integration of hardware (printers, scanners, laptop computers, smartphones, iPads and other mobile devices).
Client Services is located in Cook Library room 29 and can be reached via telephone at (410) 704-5151.
Faculty/Staff Help Center
Offers support for general computing, networking, accounts, remote access, etc.
Field Services When telephone or remote-control based support is
not practical, on-site support to offices is
provided by appointment.
Classroom & Computer Lab Technologies Provides design and planning services for classroom
technology projects (new construction and renovations). Helps support SMART Classrooms in cooperation with
colleges and departments.
