Student Computing Services (SCS) maintains a collection of digital still and video cameras which students, faculty and staff may borrow for academic/business purposes.

For reliability and the best quality image, we highly recommend using a new MiniDV tape for each video recording project—or at least a tape that has not been overused or misused. Clients borrowing camcorders from SCS are advised to use their own MiniDV tapes. SCS can offer no assurance that the "courtesy" tapes which circulate with the cameras are reliable. MiniDV tapes are readily available at grocery, photo/electronics, office, and drug stores.
