SCS has now phased-out its guest lecture services as described by the July 2004 Daily Digest article linked here:

With this change in organization and service, Student Computing Services remains dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals and become self-sufficient users of technology. We invite faculty to refer students who express a need for assistance or additional learning in order to complete course assignments to the SCS Lab (CK-35) or Web site.

Regarding Blackboard Instruction for Students
While the OTS Training catalog does include a workshop designed to introduce students to Blackboard, demand has been so low over the past few semesters that we are no longer scheduling that workshop. Instead, we are encouraging students to make use of the self-help documents and tutorial movies available within the OTS Training Documents Library. Students for whom these self-help resources are ineffective may contact SCS (scs@towson.edu) to arrange a consultation with a staff member.
