Kodak Zi8 Pocket Camcorder Kit
Like the popular Flip cameras, this camcorder is easy to use and produces relatively high-quality video. The Zi8 has several advantages, however; it can produce true (1080) HD video, it supports the use of an external microphone, it records to removable media and it can be powered directly from an AC power outlet. These last two features mean that you never have to stop recording in order to recharge the battery or transfer files to a computer.
When you are done recording, use the built-in USB connector to attach the camera to your computer. Where necessary, use the included USB extension cable to relieve strain on the UBS connector. Like a flash thumb drive, the camera will show up as an external storage device. You can copy your video files from the camera to your computer (or to a USB flash drive) to view and edit using the software of your choice.
