The health of the environment is inseparably linked to human health, equity, and wellbeing. Towson University is dedicated to building sustainability through energy conservation, waste reduction, education, research, and civic engagement. Towson is a signatory of the President’s Climate Commitment. Since 2007, we have implemented a variety of initiatives to improve sustainability including a green building policy, an $8 million lighting retrofit, single-stream recycling, composting, and a robust alternative transportation program. We invite you to learn more and get involved!
