Towson University is dedicated to building sustainability through energy conservation, waste reduction, education, research, and civic engagement. Towson is a signatory of the President’s Climate Commitment. Since 2007, we have implemented a variety of initiatives to improve sustainability including a green building policy, an $8 million lighting retrofit, single-stream recycling, composting, and a robust alternative transportation program.
