Q: How do I join the TU Alumni Association?
A: Your TU Alumni Association ID card will be mailed to you as soon as the Office of Alumni Relations receives your file from the Graduation Office. This usually takes about three months. If you do not receive your card in the mail, please call or e-mail us with your new address information. An ID card will be mailed to you promptly.
Q: How much are alumni dues?
A: The TU Alumni Association does not charge dues. Certain benefits and services may require a fee.
Q: Will I receive alumni publications?
A: Yes. You will receive our alumni magazine,
Towson,
as well as announcements about special programs, athletic events, and opportunities to volunteer. However, it is important to keep the Office of Alumni Relations updated about changes in your address and telephone numbers. You can easily update your address with us by logging into TigerTracks, the alumni online community.
Q.: How do I get a copy of my diploma or transcript?
A: For a copy of your undergraduate diploma, please contact Enrollment Services at 410-704-2095. For a copy of your graduate diploma, contact the
College
of
Graduate Studies and Research
at 410-704-3092. For a copy of your transcript, please contact the Records and Transcripts Office at 410-704-3240.
Q: Can I get discounts to TU events?
A: Yes. Alumni receive discounts on TU athletic and fine arts events tickets with their alumni ID cards. For more information about athletics events, call 410-704-2244. For more information about fine arts events, call 410-204-2787.
Q: Can I use Cook Library?
A: Yes. Just present your ID card. Library staff will assign you an account number so you can check out books.
Q: How do I get in touch with fellow Towson
alumni?
A: There are two ways to connect with former classmates. First, you can check TigerTracks, the alumni online community. The community contains up-to-date information on alumni. Second, you may contact the Alumni Relations Office and request to have your contact information mailed or e-mailed to the person you are trying to reach. For your security, the Alumni Relations Office does not give our alumni information.
Q: Can I use the fitness center and pool in Burdick Hall?
A: Alumni may purchase an annual membership to use the fitness center and pool. Memberships are sold with and without parking. Membership costs are also prorated depending on the date you purchase a membership.
