Democrat, District 32, Anne Arundel County. First elected to the House of Delegates in 2006. Member of the House since 2007. Member, Environmental Matters Committee (Environment Subcommittee, Housing and Real Property Subcommittee, Local Government and Bi-County Agencies Subcommittee). Member, Women Legislators of Maryland. Member, Anne Arundel County Council 1998--2006.

Born in Maryland, July 21, 1951. Archbishop Spalding High School, Anne Arundel Community College, A.A., Business, 1977; Towson State University, B.S., Business Administration, Magna Cum Laude, 1994. Towson University 2010

Towson University's EDA center is working with the Federal Economic Development Administration to develop sustainable economic development programs through its partnership with University Economic Development Association (UEDA). These programs include the development of models and best practices for Sustainable Economic and Community Development. Towson University was selected through the competitive grant process to be an EDA University Center.
