Habitat for Humanity
Once a month, the Towson University chapter of Habitat for Humanity donates time to help with the construction of Baltimore area homes. The group has also provided relief across the country. Members have traveled to destinations including: Miami, FL; New Orleans, LA; and Laredo, TX. Last month, the Towson Habitat for Humanity made its first international trip to Guatemala. The group expands every year and gains support by holding events on the TU campus. This year, the group set an impressive fundraising goal of $10,000.00, in hopes of raising enough to sponsor their own home to build. |
