Summer Business Casual Dress

Consistent with our past practice, we are once again permitting "business casual dress" beginning Memorial Day Monday, May 28 through the first day of fall 2007 semester classes, Monday, Aug. 27. Those offices choosing to adopt this practice should establish guidelines for staff during special internal or external activities or events at which employees represent the university.

Suggested business casual attire would include collared shirts without ties, decent trousers and golf shirts for men; skorts, culottes, dress slacks and casual shirts for women. Athletic shoes, flip flops, athletic pants, athletic shorts or shirts, jeans or tee shirts are inappropriate for office wear.
