PeopleSoft Financials Goes Live Tomorrow: Top Five Things You Need to Know

PeopleSoft Financials is going live tomorrow! Here are the top five things you need to know about the implementation:

1. PeopleSoft is replacing FRS July 1, 2008.
2. The FRS terminology and values are going away – learn the new numbers and terms now!
3. You will no longer receive hard copies of your month-end reports. Instead, you will be able to pull and run reports directly from your desk.
4. Any departmental forms containing a budget code field (or any other FRS-related information) must be changed. The same goes for internal spreadsheets, reports or directions containing FRS-related steps, terminology, or values.
5. Training is available to assist you in the FRS to PeopleSoft transition. You can view an online tutorial, take a Excel basics for PeopleSoft course, or register for live training. Note that you must take the appropriate live training classes to obtain security access to PeopleSoft.
