TU Students Invited to Audition for Performance of Acclaimed Modern Dance

The Department of Dance will hold open auditions for the restaging of Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company's Continuous Replay for performance on the Spring Mix TU Dance Company. Donald Shorter Jr. will be restaging Mr. Jones' work as well as setting one of his pieces on the dance majors. The concert will take place in April, 2009. Rehearsals will be held Monday through Friday, 5 p.m. to 7:00 P.M., with a year-long commitment. Mr. Shorter will be in residence September 6, 2008 through Friday, September 12, 2008. Audition Date: Saturday, September 6, 2008. Time to be announced in the Dance Studio Theatre. Dancers auditioned will sign up for Dance 383-102 Modern Repertory with Professor Jaye Knutson. Adjust your schedule NOW so you don't miss this chance to work with one of today's leading choreographers.
