The 34th Annual Fall Philosophy Colloquium sponsored by the Philosophy Forum and the Department of Philosophy & Religious Studies is being held at Towson University on November 3, 2009 in the University Union Potomac Lounge. Daily Activities will include:

9:45am Coffee and Introductory Remarks
10:00am Paul Newhouse, Towson University lecture entitled Saving the Archbishop
11:00am Heather L. Reid, Morningside College lecture entitled Philosophy as Friendship in Plato’s Lysis
Lunch Break
1:30pm Uri Leibowitz, Cornell College lecture entitled Friendship
2:30pm Michael B. Mathias, Frostburg State University lecture entitled The Political Significance of Friendship

The Colloquium is free and open to the public.
