FOOTBALL: Yaky Ibia Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District 2 Team

TOWSON, Md. – Junior defensive tackle Yaky Ibia (South Lakes H.S./Reston, Va.) of Towson University has been selected to ESPN The Magazine’s Academic All-America® District 2 University Division football team, it has been announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

An Actuarial Science major with a 3.60 G.P.A., Ibia is one of 25 Scholar-Athletes named to the District 2 team. Along with the other 24 honorees, he is a candidate for ESPN The Magazine’s Academic All-America® University Division Football team which will be announced on November 24.
