H1N1 shots today for priority groups
The Dowell Health Center will be offering H1N1 vaccine to students, faculty and staff who fall into any of the following CDC priority groups:
Pregnant woman (with verification from a health care provider if not obvious to the casual observer)
Healthcare professional students and their preceptors with direct patient contact working in hospitals and other clinical settings (as identified by their respective departments)
Anyone who lives with or is the primary caregivers of an infant less than 6 months of age (with documentation of infant age, e.g. birth certificate or vaccine records
Individuals less than 25 years of age
Individuals 25 to 64 years of age with a chronic condition or weakened immune system (e.g. asthma or other chronic lung disease, heart disease, cancer, diabetes, chronic kidney or liver disease, neurologic disorders such as epilepsy, brain injury or stroke; muscular disorders such as multiple sclerosis or muscular dystrophy; blood disorders) or weakened immune system from HIV/AIDS, cancer, absent spleen or immunosuppressive drugs).
WHEN: Tuesday, Nov. 17 – 9:30-3:30 pm
WHERE: Dowell Health Center. Please come to the 2nd floor rear entrance off of the Glen Esk Parking Lot
WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU: Valid TU ID card and Driver’s License or State photo ID, any necessary documentation
