Get Ready…Get Set…QUIT!
The Great American Smokeout is your chance to start living a healthier life!
The Great American Smokeout is held annually in the US to encourage those who smoke tobacco to smoke less or better yet quit for at least one day, with the hope that those who quit smoking for the day will choose to quit for a lifetime!
Visit our “Smokout Trading Post” on November 19th between 11:00am-3:00pm on the 2nd floor of the University Union. Trade in your cigarettes, lighters and/or other tobacco products in exchange for gum, mints, lollipops, rubber bands, quit tips and information on resources available to help you quit smoking.
Even if you don’t smoke stop by and show your support for those who have decided to take on the Great American Smokeout Challenge!
For more information about how to quit smoking or other health related topics please contact Kate Reeder with the Dowell Health Center at 410-704-2065.
