Towson University Daily Digest Intern Queen Reigns Over Towson University

On Monday, December 5th, the TU Public Relations Group is hosting Lauren Berger, the Intern Queen, at 6:30 p.m. in the Center For the Art’s Main Stage Theater to discuss the importance of internships and how to get them. All students that are interested in interning are encouraged to attend this free all-campus event.

Berger is a high-profile national speaker that is empowering young people to excel in their career fields by interning.

Hear her personal stories of how Berger made the most of her opportunities and managed 15 internships during her 4 years of college. Her take on the internship application process, resumes, cover letters, interviews, social media, internship trends, managing a job and internship, handling paid vs. unpaid internships, making the most of an internship.

Now, as CEO of Intern Queen Inc. and National College Speaker, Berger works with over 500 employers located all over the US and in Canada.

Business Week Magazine named Lauren Berger number 5 on their annual list of Young Entrepreneurs 25 Under 25. America Online says, “If you are going to college and wondering what you are going to do this summer – you need to look her up.” Mobile Youth has placed her in the top 10 Youth Marketing Minds of 2010.
