Towson University Daily Digest External Voice Emergency System Test Today

External Voice Emergency System Test:

The Office of Public Safety will be conducting a test of the university's External Voice Emergency System on Thursday, July 12, 2012, commencing at approximately 2 p.m. The test should last no more than a few minutes. At 2 p.m., an initial announcement will come through the external system speakers followed by an alert tone/siren and a message indicating that the individual test is complete.

Members of the university community should be aware this is only a test; no action is required unless a building internal fire alarm system is activated -- you will need to evacuate if that occurs.

Any individual who has a question about the test should contact the Office of Public Safety’s Department of Environmental Health & Safety at x4-3806.
