Campus Phone Change

The University Police, with the support of OTS, are in the process of changing the way employees place external phone calls from a campus telephone; effective August 21, 2012, campus users will need to dial
6 + (area code)-XXX-XXXX to connect with external constituents, or for long distance phone calls dial 6 + 1 + (area code)-XXX-XXXX.. This will eliminate accidentally dialing 9-1-1 and connecting to Baltimore County Emergency Response and Campus Police.

OTS will automatically reprogram all external speed dials currently set-up on your phone.
